Engineer - Motueka

About the role

You will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairing plant equipment to minimise downtime and improve overall plant efficiency while maintaining a high standard of health and safety.

Hourly rate ranges from $35 - $40, based on your experience and qualification, On call allowances

As a Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Day-to-day maintenance of the plant
• Reporting breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks through the software-based system
• Ensuring the production downtime is kept minimal
• Maintaining relationships with the internal and external stakeholders
• Following the health and safety/food safety procedures

For this role, you’ll need:

• Engineering Trade
• Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering experience

• FMCG or Secondary Industry (Food Processing) experience would be advantageous
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Efficiency and organisation
