About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking people to join our Processing & Packing Teams at our vegetable plant in Ashburton. This is a full-time role, working on 12-hour shifts, 4 ON 4 OFF roster, starting on Day shift and then moving to Night shift as directed. Remuneration will be based on your experience and qualifications.

As a Trainee Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Operate machinery to process and pack produce.
• Keep accurate records of processing activities.
• Understand product specifications and ensure only the correct grade is processed and packed.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Assist with equipment care and maintenance.

For this role, you’ll need:

• Legal right to work in New Zealand for at least 6 months.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Have good communication skills in English.
• Physical fitness for a factory environment.
