About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking people to join our
Processing & Packing Teams at our vegetable plant in Ashburton. This is a
full-time role, working on 12-hour shifts, 4 ON 4 OFF roster, starting on Day
shift and then moving to Night shift as directed. Remuneration will be based on
your experience and qualifications.
As a Trainee Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Operate machinery to process and pack produce.
- Keep accurate records of processing activities.
- Understand product specifications and ensure only the correct grade is processed and packed.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Assist with equipment care and maintenance.
For this role, you’ll need:
- Legal right to work in New Zealand for at least 6 months.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Have good communication skills in English.
- Physical fitness for a factory environment.
