About the role
We’re looking for a highly organised Sales Co-ordinator to join our team at our Nelson office. In this pivotal administration role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring sales documentation, reporting, customer orders, and data management processes are accurate, up to date, and running smoothly across customers, compliance, and operations. From managing labelling requirements and letters of credit documentation to maintaining master data, coordinating reporting, and supporting production scheduling, you’ll play a key role in keeping the sales function organised, efficient, and on track.
This role will suit someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and process-driven, with the ability to manage a high volume of administrative tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also be confident building relationships and proactively communicating with customers across a range of domestic and international markets.
As Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting labelling requirements and customer communications
- Acting as a key link between customers and internal compliance teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered.
- Preparing, maintaining and distributing customer reports and sales-related reporting
- Coordinating the collection of customer information, including NPS and satisfaction surveys
- Supporting the onboarding of new customers
- Maintaining customer master data and ensuring all information is accurate and up to date across internal systems
- Providing administrative support for trade show planning, coordination and logistics
- Managing the order processing cycle to ensure orders are entered accurately and fulfilled on time
- Assisting with forecasting and inventory planning to support customer demand requirements
- Coordinating the production packing schedule to support efficient operations and timely order fulfilment
For this role, you’ll need:
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of AI tools and their practical application
- Experience working across operational areas such as logistics, finance, or documentation is advantageous
- Prior experience in a sales support or administration role is preferred
- An interest in developing sales skills
- Exceptional organisational skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A process-driven and reliable approach, with a commitment to following tasks through to completion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work directly with customers and internal stakeholders
- A proactive mindset, with a practical approach to solving problems
- The ability to remain calm under pressure, and adaptable when priorities shift
- The capability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and contribute positively as part of a team
