About the role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional to join our team in Motueka. This is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and making a real impact across the business.

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Support end-to-end recruitment, including job descriptions, advertising, application management, shortlisting, interviews, reference checks, MOJ checks, visa checks, and HRIS (Ready Workforce) administration
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee HR queries
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with immigration legislation and right-to-work requirements
  • Coordinate training and ensure staff certifications and compliance requirements are current (e.g. food safety, confined spaces)
  • Support New HR systems, applications or processes
  • Maintain accurate staff personnel files and records

For this role, you’ll need:  

  • Proven experience in general HR and recruitment
  • Strong administrative, communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to provide practical focused HR advice
  • Confident working under pressure and managing competing priorities
  • Able to work independently and use initiative
  • Good working knowledges of Microsoft programmes
