About the Role

We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to join the team at Talley's Havelock.

This is a full-time role. Afternoon Shift, Sunday - Friday 2pm - 11pm. 

Your hourly rate will be $29.11 p/h. 

As the Havelock Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Lead the day-to-day operations across both people and process in the grading factory, to deliver agreed production plans and operational targets
• Learn and develop a robust understanding of the Shellfish Payments System for entering and accurate data within agreed timeframes
• Support lean manufacturing processes to promote continuous improvement of plant performance
• Accurately maintain all documentation and records, both written and electronically
• Support the training of operational team members, provide coaching and guidance to staff so they can effectively carry out their roles to a high standard

Qualifications

You will need:

• Proven management/leadership experience
• Proven experience in relevant food processing operations
• Forklift license
• Seafood level 4 processing (or similar)

Advance knowledge in the following would be beneficial:

• In depth knowledge of Shellfish processing operations
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintenance practices
• Solid understanding of Health and Safety regulations and practices
• Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and MS Teams
