We are looking for an engineering Manager to join us at our Blenheim branch. This is a full-time position. Providing Leadership to the engineering functions (mechanical, electrical, boiler and planning/admin) and provide expert engineering knowledge and experience to the Blenheim site including Havelock to continuously improve business outcomes.

As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for: 

• Supporting department heads and develop continuous improvement strategies
• Conduct regular site machinery needs, analyses and implement appropriate improvement plans
• Ensuring appropriate prioritization of work orders based on criticality and specific/seasonal business needs
• Lead, support and guide your high performing team
• Manage projects within time and budget 

Who are you?

A proven leader with experience managing engineering teams and delivering complex projects, fostering collaboration, mentoring talent while balancing technical expertise with business priorities to achieve results.

For this role, you'll need:

• Engineering qualifications and proven experience in this field
• Proven management experience and ability to inspire, support and lead the team
• Strategic thinker with the ability to work under pressure and tight timeframes
• Strong communication skills
• Good understanding of health and safety, environmental and food safety responsibilities
• Highly organised
• Team Player
