About the role

We are looking for a Coldstore Supervisor to join the team at our Nelson site.

Reporting to the Coldstore Manager, you will assist with all day-to-day operations, including container loadouts, grading of product, and supervising of staff.

As Coldstore Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the grading and storing of frozen product
• Ensuring export containers are loaded accurately and efficiently
• Liaising with the Sales, Logistics, and Freight departments regarding orders
• Ensuring frozen product is complaint and to temperature
• Filling in for the Coldstore Manager as and when required

 For this role, you’ll need:

• Proven experience at a supervisory or management level
• Strong understanding of H&S and Compliance procedures
• Excellent time management & communication skills
• Forklift License
• Ability to manage others
