About the role

We are looking for Coldstore Forklift Operators to join our Team at our Ashburton vegetable plant. This is a full-time role, working on 12-hour shifts, 4 ON 4 OFF roster, working either Day shift or Night shift as directed. Remuneration will be based on your experience and qualifications. A night shift allowance of $22.50 per shift will be paid nights worked.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete tasks as required by your Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Inwards/ outwards goods to be handled safely and accurately. 
• Stacking de-stacking in line with standard operating procedures (training is provided).
• Performs dispatch and Packout supply as directed.
• Ensure company-documented procedures and business rules are adhered to.

For this role, you will need:

• Forklift license preferred.
• In some cases, forklift training agreement can be used for new staff until license is completed.
• Prior Warehouse/Coldstore experience preferred but not compulsory.
• Solid understanding of H&S regulations pertaining to Forklift Operations.
• Excellent communication skills.
