About the role

We are looking for a Casual Bunker Operator to conduct bunkering of our deep sea fishing vessels on an as-needed basis. You will be employed on a Casual Employment Agreement, with hours varying depending on operational needs.

As a Bunker Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting bunkering operations in a safe and efficient manner
• Monitoring fuel transfers and maintaining clear communication with staff
• Completing and maintaining documentation for each bunkering operation
• Performing pre-start and post-operation checks on the bunkering equipment
• Responding promptly to spills or incidents

 For this role, you’ll need:

• Proven experience in marine bunkering and fuel transfers is advantageous
• To be flexible with working varied hours, including early mornings or late afternoons
• Strong understanding and compliance with Health & Safety
• Great communication skills and the ability to complete operational checks and documents
